No, just no. A judge is pretty much like a critic, he can't just rate a movie without explaining what he based his rating on, he mustn't give a fuck about some whining, even if it's an error on his side, considering, that he's new to the whole judging business & editing in general. If you have made a choice, then there's definitely a reason why you've chosen 1 over the other & all you have to do is just write that reason down maintaining constructivism & helping the editor see his errors. Just fucking state your opinion, you must have one, if you don't, then you're not fit to be a judge, if you have one, but you're afraid of expressing it - you're weak & inconfident - not fit to be a judge.

Just try to show some effort from your side, your goal is to help these editors improve & nothing does it better than constructive criticism & "ability" to state your own opinion on his work.

Right, so your point is, because these judges don't review, the blame all goes for me right.

I'm already facing much problems in real life yet I try to do something about this Tournament.

Yes I will take your "advice" into account, and go more stricter about this reviewing, because it can make a change.
Mustapha: That was just so awesome! The atmosphere reminded me of driving in a car, late at night & listening to some late night radio, really ambient feel you've got going on there. The effects could've been somewhat better, but most of the time, they work, the colors at the very beginning are a bit dull, but they also fit with the theme. I just can't get enough of that atmosphere, it is that freakin' awesome! GL in the finals... I mean, in the upcoming match

Got problems??

Remove me, i dont realy care, when i make a simple review, everyone says shit, what i realy hateits when i get spamed in xfire coz of a begger that says: "ZOMG, remove your review about (Pullman or WhitxFul) or hes gonna kill me"

Most of you will be like: WTF this guy want?, but the guy who said me this will understand.

Cheers.

Why don't you just say who it was?

Yes, it was me duh? but then you behave in the way you are at the moment, when I actually considered giving you the place for you to be a judge, after YOU BEGGED me.

No I'm not against you, just forwarding facts.

Round 3 will start tomorrow, for the rest of the guys.

You people really need to get some facts and stop arguing. This tournament was started by a normal player of WoS who wanted to bring up something to do for others to have some fun since all we had before were Stunting Leagues. So idea was to get some editing competition for those who wanted it. This tournament wasn't supposed to be professional, just a friendly competition among friends and of course everyone else was also welcome. Determined you showed what a real judge for editing tournament is that's for sure, you've got lots of experiences with it I can tell. I also understand what you were trying to say about the explanations but judging here on this tournament was supposed to be more simple, and not being looked into microscope. I've been asked for judging and I said that I have no big experience with editing, but still I know some basics and have a good sense for deciding the better. So I said I'll do it since this was supposed to be a simple friendly tournament.
From my point of view about judging on editing of what I look on is mostly sync with music and how well the effects fits. I don't know how every effect is called also so when explaining I keep it nice and simple. I look at it very carefully and simply chose of what I think it looks better for my style of editing and I still stand with my decisions I made. And I believe most of the judges did the same, chose from their "style of what a good edit is" so you should simply respect that. Also explanations were about to be skipped as it always causes drama, but I've spoke to every judge and most of them said it's fine and we can give the explains if you guys want to, but as you see it caused drama and now from what I see there wont be any explains anymore.
Also no-one was expecting that this tournament will become so big and full of GTAS who needs more professional approche or how could I call it. So you're getting a bit unfair to Mustapha, this was his first tournament and when it grown that big it also put lots of burden on his shoulders as he knew requirements have changed. He knew he'll have to make it more professional to please your requirements. That's why I also helped him out there and make some space on the forums for it to be pulled off. He's doing his best and worrying for this to work nicely for all of you and all you do is complain. So everyone stop bitching and deal with it of how it is and have fun!

Nka19
