No, just no. A judge is pretty much like a critic, he can't just rate a movie without explaining what he based his rating on, he mustn't give a fuck about some whining, even if it's an error on his side, considering, that he's new to the whole judging business & editing in general. If you have made a choice, then there's definitely a reason why you've chosen 1 over the other & all you have to do is just write that reason down maintaining constructivism & helping the editor see his errors. Just fucking state your opinion, you must have one, if you don't, then you're not fit to be a judge, if you have one, but you're afraid of expressing it - you're weak & inconfident - not fit to be a judge.
Just try to show some effort from your side, your goal is to help these editors improve & nothing does it better than constructive criticism & "ability" to state your own opinion on his work.
