« on: June 14, 2010, 09:15:42 pm »Design is nice, but there is one thing that sucks. The technique used for the LIVE Chat is the so called "polling" which causes a very heavy load on both the Server and des Client.
Alternatives are:
1. Long-Polling for example through a PHP socket connection with the Chatserver, so that the HTTP server never closes the connection
2. Using flash sockets
3. Using Websockets with a flash-fallback

We simulated 5,000 clients using live at the same time, results were 0.4% CPU load on the server.
Client-side, this only uses 0.01% of my CPU. We recommend you use FireFox, that is what this website is designed for.
A high load on our server for apache is considered 80% on a single core out of 4 cores.

1. I think the warnings stay for the while you are on the server.
If u want to know better about that ask an Admin I am sure he knows.
2. U cant disable SA:MP for a period of time, samp is a program like earch other.
So SA:MP hasnt a function to disable it.
2. U cant go around a IP BAN (ban), if any admin ban you then is your IP banned too.
The IP is the "adress" of you computer.
So you cant change it if he/she/they are on your computer.

If they want to create a new account on YOUR IP it doest work.
The only solution is, dont let him/her on your account.
1: Warnings are stored in a file and are always saved (unless file deleted/erased).
2: Uninstall it
3: maybe there is a program that lets you lock Other programs, idc...
You could just if you goto the toilet sign out, or something... --- Fails
but that takes a long time.
Or you could ask an admin to mute you lol.... --- Fails
Except There arent always admins online...

Did you had a look at the last Moderator Apps, some were posted in March, and they are not accepted, there are still the same sections avaible like 3 months ago.

As i already said, this isnt an appeal for anything. I donnot get on my knees for injustice! I am either sorry for something ive done nor i have broke any rulez! What i was expecting was apologies for this mistreatment and just justice.
So what are you going to do? Let me banned for no reason or unbann me and bann the right guy namely "shabz" ?

These are not official emails from World of Stunting support, it is your decision wether you want to allow members to message you through the SMF emailing system or not, you may change these settings at any time in your account settings.
It is your responsibility after officially agreeing to the Terms of Service of the forums that you are responsible for changing the settings accordingly in your account, in order to disallow members to see your email address or send you messages.
