Internet Explorer [Serious Problem]
« on: September 28, 2009, 09:31:14 am »
Well IE [Internet Explorer] is fucking up my computer
Have a look :-

Well i think its some kind of virus and I have no idea how to get rid of it,
Gta Sa or any other game for that matter minimize randomly and IE opens in the background and this happens very often and sometimes even crashes my game.

Avg isn't detecting it and every time I try to end the process it opens 4 more IE's
As you can see to your bottom left there are 93 processes running.
Well I asked the guys at the server and fellow Stumpy suggested I format my PC, so before taking any serious action, just wanted to know if anyone could help me with this situation.

Ty,
Mattz

Well...I didn't had that problem with my PC...but try to get better Antivirus program maybe that one you are using is not detecting that virus...

if not...then reformat your PC.

Black has the idea. Try a different program, if that doesn't work manually clean out your temporary internet files and any other places where unnecessary files are stored, AND if that doesn't work I suggest you just format your PC. If its a virus in the registry that could take hours upon hours of searching and googling to find.

My brother had this with his PC. It kept bringing up IE porn sites, so we did a clean reformat.
We couldn't find a programme to get rid of the virus. COMODO wouldn't get it. :/

Hello Mattz,

You should immediately re-format your PC, it may actually be currently in use for Denial of Service attacks on online services.

Hi Mattz:

I know you've tried an anti-virus program, but have you tried an anti-malware program? I had similar problems before and i solved this with an anti-malware program. It's something to consider before making the commitment to reformat your hard drive.

Cheers,

Jep Raising is right ..
i had this problem some moths ago too.
and when i just removed the procession,
i just only saw my Background image,
and everything was dissapeared.
so i had to restart my pc again.
and i installed Google chrome/safari (i use both)
and it wont come up again!

Greetz!
