Greet someone
« on: June 19, 2010, 01:01:49 pm »
Hey

Disclaimer: If you really don't care about WoS members, leave this topic now.

Ok so the point of this is i see noobs/newbies (correct term) come on the server and sometimes are constantly ignored or not paid any attention to, so they just leave and try and find a new server.

Anyway why not try and greet someone new every day or so when you can?
Sure there's no real reward but there's never any harm in adding a new person every now and then.

If not oh well, but you should try and make the "introduce yourself" section blow up :)

Ye, i noticed that the new players were ignored, today i saw some saying : Hi all im new here, and noone said Hi back(even me, yes nuke me)

I think its a good idea, so WoS could have more players and registrations

So...
This is what you expect?

New player: Hi, i'm new
Rishi: Hello
Newplayer: Omg thanks <3 Your my new BFF! :)

Bit dramatic i know, but thats basically what your saying.
You don't thank someone for saying "hi"

It's not about recognition, its about making new friends, being nice, expanding our community.
You don't have to do it but it's always a nice gesture :)

That is bad to when new players ask help and players are maybe busy so new players start use caps and spam that question...
