Post by: Mustapha on June 10, 2010, 04:20:05 am
I did a rubbish, short solo to celebrate when I left the hospital. You may not like it but I do  :lol:

Some tips I give ya:

1. Record on Fraps with 12.5, then speed it up twice on Sony Vegas (Right click --> Properties --> Playback Rate I think).
2. Pan/crop --> Select 16:9.
3. Record also with very high quality, 1280x720, and anti alias 3x. You may lagg, I do also, but if you get over 15 fps, its fine :).
4. Work on the cam angles.
5. Download Dannyes Freeplay, to get better angles + change weather + time and much more.
6. Maybe download some plugins or something for Vegas lol

But it was cool for your first video.

lol a new fellow editor nice to see some new challenge :) i like the vid and i haven't really edited a full vid yet other than my few 30 sec ones but i knew a few about vegas and special effects.

With recording i would take robinz advice cause im not all that into the recording quality. and for things like special effects maybe some you have seen in the beginning of my SL entrys, for those i am making some tutorials on vegas as soon as i am able to get camtasia working >.>
