I'm going to have to disagree, in my opinion just took up screen space and it wasn't very productive to begin with.  I don't really see any reason to bring it back.

I would also disagree, not only was it annoying and not at all helpful but most of the problems came from the fact that people weren't mature enough to handle it. too much spam, too much immaturity.

Which is why we could set up a set of rules of the immature ones that decide to act immature.
