i agree with alpha, because you will probably make you best friends to co-captain whatever, and the others get nothin, so its unfair against the ~normal~ members

A gang owner, can make every decission he wants.
If ranks are added, and wants to put his friend co.leader, its his decission. Or who will you trust more, me or your best friend? Think about that.

And if other people dont like the decission, they can leave (or /cry).

I think its a good idea.

Either way it's lazy to put someone in charge of gang ranks alone.

Here's A way To subject this -

If the owner has a best friend it's a bit doubtful the best stunter on the gang will get rightful status,
If there is a best stunter and he is constantly in 2nd command but always offline then nobody gets earned recognition.

BUT -
If someone who has been there getting/saving zones get's a chance to get up the ladder then nobody gets cheated.
And everybody will have to average their effort to be higher in command.

At the same time -
The leader can kick/demote/suspend A player for their actions no matter the rank.
