Because your IP automatically changed most likely by your internet service provider. As stated in the Terms of Service we do not un-ban ANYONE without an accepted ban appeal.

The linking in-game hasn't been updated yet, it is still using the old version so it assumes your account is linked. Simply link it through the website.
