On-topic - I think you are ok enough to join, the stunts were actually really good. But in Gtas like I said you have to be known to actually be "in" I would stick to free stunting for a bit. do a lot of vids, then you can slack off and still be in

Don't listen to Mustapha.
Currently I have quit a few videos planned, but I also don't really edit with Vegas, I edit with After Effects.
I can make a really good intro and render it into high quality upload it to mediafire and you can put it into vegas as a clip.I do this alot concerning some of my edits. but long story short, it could work pretty well.
The only bad thing is currently I'm having a problem with my laptop, TrayIcon1 :L so it will have to be when I fix that.

A few things i forgot...
Paranoid is just as new in editing as Mike, I've seen mike edit his own solos Paranoid mostly does edit test, I honestly think most of you are just being nicer to mike since you know him more.
But in my opinion both were completely horrible, not because you guys are beginners but because you didn't even take what YOU knew would be bad for a test.
- like the views and how the camera went through walls and objects, etc.
- to much shaking (personally I think it can REALLY ruin part of the vid if the shake isn't used right.
You've obviously watched epic vids that you like yet you didn't take any tips on good editing from them.
Keep practicing though

He actually did, well as far as I know they were a few edit tests no actual stunt videos (2 or 3 mins worth) that I know of.
other than that they were good, not enough to reach his own ego that he shows for other people's vids but they were ok.

No-one joined in to promote wos, your an editor and if you really cared to bring in new players you would have joined..right?
Editing League - I'm not pointing any fingers but some of the editors here aren't up to committing to edit battles, isn't that right?
Stunt League - it has already been said nka is too busy and there is a reason that he hosts it during the summer, there would be alot more time for stunts and that is why the league is always planned then.
I doubt 3.0 will bring new players, a server doesn't always thrive on being flashy it thrives on the players and community, start there.

This is where all of you are wrong.
A clean edit is where the effects/edit fit perfectly into the song.
a video can have 30 different effects but as long as it fits well enough to show the video and bring out the 'wow' in it then the edit is clean.
on another note, mustapha you stood up for mike when stallone somewhat insulted the edit. but how come you didn't stand up for Green ice in his intro test? he's just as new as mike in the edit world..

He's told to tell people because, don't miss this part: his DOCTOR told him to. socializing doesn't mean you have to go to someone's face and say hello. it is to talk and communicate, communication happens everywhere ESPECIALLY the internet.

Well since it's a lot of responsibility then I think it is better if WoS SL stays in the summer. It wouldn't be fair since like nka said he doesn't want more responsibilities currently.
I would like an editing league but for the few editors we have 80% of them aren't up to keeping commitments, sad but true. I guess there's currently nothing we can do :L
