A great PC for a good low price and one more thing is it going to be Windows 7
No problem with that, everyone that goes to my College gets a free copy of Windows 7 Professional x64 though The MSDN Academic Alliance.

Oh by the way, I just bought a lotto ticket (I could win 20 million dollars.) If I win I owe Macress345 a $1,000 gaming computer!  I highly doubt I will win but whatever :P

Hi Brendy!

Lucky you, that's a kickass computer imo! XD

Hum.. for the CPU, just be aware, the best deal you can get right now would be Phenom II X6, Its currently at 179$ on Newegg, so it would unfortunately bust your budget a little.

The AMD Phenom II X6 1055T   is getting 28.78 passmark points [(CPU Mark / $Price )] for 179$
The Phenom II X4 955 would be a little below 4,267 passmark points for $144.99 (maybe more since its black edition??)
http://www.cpubenchmark.net/cpu.php?cpu=AMD+Phenom+II+X6+1055T

Also I have read on an overclocking forum that you cannot change the CPU/NB Voltage on your Mobo , so that could be an issue, but since you are cooling with 2 stock casing fans, and that you did not purchase an after-market cpu heatsink, I assume you wont overclock.

Cool setup!
Yeah unfortunately I cannot go for an x6 at the moment.  Maybe in the future I will upgrade but I don't really see it as a big deal since most games support quad cores, not 6 core processors.  Where have you seen that you can't change Voltage on an ASUS? Usually you can customize anything on an ASUS, and this board I'm buying is alot of money so I am hoping it can.  If not, oh well.  I would probably keep the voltage on auto anyways.  The biggest reason I am buying this motherboard is that it support SLI x16 configuation, while most Mobos in this price range only support x8 SLI.  I will probably never SLI anyways but you never know.

Orion, the Stock cooler on the Phenom II black editions are actually pretty decent.  People with this same processor (according to reviews) have gotten the clock to 3.8GHz with ease just on Stock cooling.  I will also be removing the OEM compound and putting on Arctic Silver, maybe that will help it keep cool more.  Worst case scenario (I can't overclock at all) 3.2GHz is just fine for me.

Nice work on putting that together. Why don't you go with a HAF 922 though? It's got more room than a Scout and it's slightly cheaper. I know Nka has one so you can ask him how it is.

Also, I'm not sure how much power two 570's will take, but Xion has an 80+ Gold Certified 700w PSU for $95.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817190027&Tpk=700w%20xion

If two cards can run on 700w then I suggest going for that Xion.

EDIT: Forget the HAF 922, it went up to $100 on Newegg, even though it was just $80 a month ago.
Thanks for the suggestion Max but I heard some pretty terrible things about XION power supplys (and their customer support).  I know someone IRL that has the same Antec PSU I'm getting and it's very powerful and quiet, and you can trust a big company like Antec to give support if you have any problems.
Also like I said, I might never SLI my cards.   When it comes time for an upgrade I might just buy a whole new card and keep my old one as a dedicated PhysX card or something.

Awesome pc for such a LOW price :O
Thanks, I've been working on it since October.  You just have to do your homework and you can come up with a great PC like this one for such great price.

Yes that is a great pc.  with that card you should be able to run most new games except maybe Metro 2033 at max settings at a resolution of 1920x1200.  And it shouldn't have problems running games at full settings for the next year or so.  But you never know, with the rate technology is advancing lol.  Last year we were all drooling over the Radeon 5970 now we are drooling over the gtx 580 xD.

But why do most admins ban players when they post sites in the chat? so they cant post sites in chat but they can in housenotes?
They shouldn't be.  We used to do that in the past but admino let us know that what he means with the advertising rule is that it's only advertising if you advertise another server but saying something like "Everyone come to (name of server)" or posting the IP of it.  But remember that we do take everything individually here.   This is the way I do things when it comes to advertising: I ban if I feel someone is advertising another server or  a potentially dangerous website (such as a Warez or illegal site) or a pornography site (because we have some kids that play here and many of them contain harmful viruses or other types of malware that can harm your computer), but when it comes to personal websites I wouldn't really be ok with them advertising a website directly in chat like "come to my website!!" but I would be fine to just have it out there with it in something like an hnote.

Too long don't read version: I won't ban advertising hnotes unless they advertise another SA-MP server.

It is not advertising unless they are attempting to take our players away by advertising other SA-MP servers.

Is it possible to put Asus P6T to coolermaster elite 430? Im really woryed about it.
You should be able to, that Coolermaster supports ATX motherboards, which the ASUS P6T is, though fitting the graphics card in it may be another problem.... I wouldn't worry to much since you are waiting until March to get your computer, as you might find something better within that time frame.
Anyways guys, this is how I'm going to do my computer.  My first priority is the AMD Radeon 5970, if I can't afford that then I'm getting the gtx 570, if I can't afford that then I will have to get the Radeon 5950.  Sure sucks I will have to resort to the radeons but you just can't beat their low prices!  The 5970 is right up with the 580 and it costs about 200 dollars less than the 580.

I will be posting my rig up soon since my rig will be here about late-December to early January!  Another plus to that is I will be returning to WoS again when it comes!

30
its official it will come out. The Elder Scrolls V - Scrim. it will be released 11,11,2011
Unfortunately in early stages of development they cannot really guarantee an exact release date because anything can happen between now and then.  No big deal, it's just that delays can happen D:

Anyways, yeah it will definitely be interesting to see how great the new game engine is for Skyrim!  I hope this game will be as mind blowing as Morrowind was content-wise.
