I have great news, about a week ago, not only did Bethesda confirm that this rumor is true, but they also confirmed they are not using the same game engine (Gamebryo) they used in Morrowind, Oblivion, and Fallout 3.  So it will be very interesting to see how great they do in the next game with the new engine.  What engine they are going to use has not yet been announced, they just said it is an "all new engine"

Lol Brendon i was on to get GTX 570 too, but its not out in my country yet but ill try to wait for it. If nothing happend and ill stick with my GTX 470 :)
Great benefit of living in the U.S. we get it first most of the time.  I don't know about getting my computer before Christmas though because the shipping prices have skyrocketed for the holidays, it would be like 26 dollars just to have my computer shipped!  talk about a rip off there!

I understand that you are a user of Intel CPUs because most of my friends in my town, won't even take the idea of buying an AMD.  But if you want the most performance you can afford, then stick with the i7, as it has more L2 and L3 cache than the AMDs do.
But if I were you, I'd consider the i5, as it is still a quad core, it consumes less power than the i7 and amd quad/6 cores and it is still a very good processor.   It will save you money in the long run with your electricity bill.

Im getting my new PC soon next year but it'll come fast, so im on to just find out the good cheap PC specs.
My opinion is:
CPU:Intel Core i7 950 3.06GHz
RAM:6GB DDR3 G.Skill 1600Mhz
HDD:1TB
GPU:EVGA GeForce GTX 470 (Since HD 6870 and HD 6850 are already out in my country, im on to wait for GTX 580 wich will be out very very fastlly on PC shop where im getting new Computer)

I would like to hear your opinions about good PC Parts!
Good configuation, I have no suggestions.  It would be hard for me to give any because I live in another country and we might have different parts that are available.

Well good news, SHANA LIVES!

The hardrive was totaled, so my files WERE lost, however the CPU lived, and the external saved her information, and some of my hard saves.

My mods are gone
Screnshots
Downloads(SAMP INCLUDED)
Firefox
photos
Java
and alot of others.

But I am downloading and repairing her. I expect her to be online tonight or tomorrow.
Good to hear! Sorry to hear about your data.   As my instructor for my Network Technologies class has said:  Computer hardware is replaceable but if data is not backed up it is gone forever.

Nubie,

This is not entirely unusual to see, I have named my first laptop ever Brent (after my name) then I have gone to Brent-v2 for this laptop.  for any new laptops it will continue from there (Brent-v3, v4, etc.)  I still haven't figured out a good name for my desktop computer but I will cross that road when I come to it.  Probably DBrent or something like that.

Anyways idontwannaname, I pick Rin I guess lol.
