Ok so the point of this is i see noobs/newbies (correct term) come on the server and sometimes are constantly ignored or not paid any attention to, so they just leave and try and find a new server.

Anyway why not try and greet someone new every day or so when you can?
Sure there's no real reward but there's never any harm in adding a new person every now and then.

If not oh well, but you should try and make the "introduce yourself" section blow up

Well i liked how snuffs had her story and i honestly didn't know we had another writer on WoS so i just wanted to share a preview of MY story that I've already been working on. unlike "cj-his story" this isn't a video

IF YOU DON'T WANT TO READ THE WHOLE THING HERE IS A PREVIEW.
                                                                                                                                                                       
(PREVIEW)

A boy awakens to his school only to see it is a place filled with monsters and death all around. he gets chased by an unimaginable beast and narrowly  escapes by being saved by his friend. but as he is taken back to base he is inspected for infections by a professor only to be injected with an unknown serum and put into a cell. while in the cell his life is held hostage by an unknown hooded man. he saves himself by pledging his loyalty. but all the while not knowing that his soul has been tainted by darkness. The man tells gives him orders and tells him to gain control, even if it means killing his friends.

Can the boy find the answers of his whereabouts while being controlled by a hooded man. can he save his friends from the orders given at the consequence of his life? Can he learn to control the darkness within himself or lose himself to it?
                                                                                                                                                                         

- Beginning (small taste) - 

A boy has awakens in a building in a school desk. he doesn't remember a thing except that his teacher sent him to another room, and he fell asleep...he looks around and sees the building is decrepit and worn over as if there for hundreds of years, there is rubble and debris on the floor and the classroom is a abandoned except for a gaping hole in the wall.

The boy gets up and walks toward the hole, he looks out left and right and sees the abandoned hallway also covered with debris, and vines and moss growing. he walks in the hallway hoping something will give him answers to where he is. after moments of silence and walking he hears an animal growling and chewing on something like meat.

He instinctively stops any movement and sees another hole in the wall about 20 feet from on the left-hand side.
He hugs the wall and moves closer to investigate he looks around the corner and sees what looks like a beast from hell. it raises it's head as if sensing prey and sniffs the air. it gets distracted by it's meal and goes back to eating, the boy looks closer and sees a backpack next to the meal of the beast..

surprised he hides his head back behind the wall and recognizes at his feet is a small but very deep fissure. he tries to stretch his leg over but it is a few inches too long. he moves back a few feet and tries to have a small running step to jump he runs and jumps over he tries to spot if the beast saw him jumping and he sees it turn it's head to it's side but not fully around. he lands on the other side sliding.

He quietly and gets up and as he's brushing the sand off of him and it wasn't too long before he hears a booming sound behind him. It didn't take a second thought to know to run. sprinting as fast as he can, he runs hearing the beast breathing hungrily behind him. he looks back and sees the beast, it is the size of a moving truck and growling as if killing was it's pleasure.

he keeps about 15 feet in front of the beast looking left and right of ways to escape. his vision begins to get fuzzy from his fatigue from the chase. he doesn't keep his sight on the floor and trips over a piece of rubble.
he falls to the floor and looks back at the beast roaring with it's jaws wider than belief he sits there in disbelief of the current events as the beast rushes at him drooling with his death written all over it's fangs..

                                                                                                                                                                     

Well i know the first thing thats going to be said is "is everybody making story posts here?" or something like that but no i just wanted to see who would like this kind of story. yeah i know it has a "dark" feel to it but meh.

i've already made 40 pages of this story and started on it on my first school semester so im not copying..im just saying...

hey um i hope you see this in time but i was wondering since there is winners round for SL and now a losers round how about the winners and losers team up for the first loser round. i'l use first two i can think of.

Round 1 alpha vs zeal - zeal won
Round 1 electric vs hurricane - elec won

Losers round 1 - alpha AND zeal vs Hurri and elec

A.K.A zeal vs elec
        alpha vs hurri

Winner of duo challenge round 1

Loser stunter moves to Losers round two. and picks the challenge
SL stunter gets to pick the challenge for the round 2 of SL against opponent.

(if the winner of the duo loses their challenge i guess they get kicked from both SL and losers, idk )
{if winner of duo wins then They get paired with A loser again vs both of their next opponents)

this is as much as i've gotten for now but i thought it would build a small "stunt relationship" bond or teamwork from more stunters and the variety of challenges that stunters can think of.

I was hoping to see if this will be decided before tomorrow (June 2, 2010) but if not it is just a suggestion.
i will answer questions if any but this is as simple as i can try to make it lol

ok ok i just came from watching the greatest movie EVAR..or at least of the current PoP movie series.

this movie is like seriously epicly great.

the slow motion scenes can be like epic at times but the acrobatics and the fighting are priceless.

The story is based on an adopted boy turned prince named. Dustan (i think) and his father is murdered him being the guinea pig. i am not going to release as much information as to what else happens because YOU NEED TO WATCH THIS MOVIE YOURSELF.

The action is to dies for. as i said before the acrobatics is a nice set of moves that don't look fake and mixed with style and variety.

Effects: hd, and badass looking sands (when he reverses time)

Main chick - HAWT.
Prince - really cool looking (i'm not going to say hawt or something. sorry ladies )

YOU NEED A TINY BIT OF AN ATTENTION SPAN TO KEEP UP. if you can make it through a few scenes of dialogue then  the action right after will pay off.

if you can make it close to the end i'm sure you will be interested in seeing what happens.

i'm just recommending highly of this movie. maybe you don't like it but i sure as hell do.

Alright my question would be: Why is it people ask to lock topics when it is not in their section or in their power to moderate? like in the other problems, fizzy answered an already answered question and said "i think this topic can be #closed and thats not the first of that happening (no offense fizz)

and what about the people who have the questions right after? i mean for all we know nobody answered what was needed answered, he could have a question but wait! They can't. IT"S LOCKED. so they either go unsatisfied cause some douche didn't really check if what was needed was answered. and if they make a new topic some nullhead is going to "hey uh why you make a new tawpic dis wuz alredy maid b4" and several post following that one.

So here is what i'm suggesting  STFU don't ask for the topic to be locked because if it needs to be locked, the admin/moderator will lock it. if it's a useless topic don't "can we please lock this topic?" no stfu and put up with it, if it's against ToS Then the mods/admins will take care of it.

If it's annoying and useless and has no point being there STFU the MODS/ADMINS will take care of it if it's that big of a problem, OR just don't visit that topic again.

This is just a big a problem as Goodbye topics. and that piece of ignorance still lingers around. YOU know who you are who asks for the topic to be locked, If i could i would make this into a sticky note and FACEPALM your head with divine force with it and hope it stays there.

If it offends you for gods sake REPORT IT don't make a topic saying someone said this racist wordy or someone made a topic that made me feel a tiny bit squiggly inside. Message an admin or click the giant "REPORT TO MODERATOR" button under the post.

Your Turn

 Rules

1. no one can help you actually do ANYTHING with the picture or whatever you are editing, designing, creating whatever.

2. You may use whatever editor you choose but if it interferes with you meeting the challenge by the deadline that is by your own fault.

3. if school, work or a schedule is hard to maintain with this challenge an extension may be asked for BUT it has to be asked for before 3 days of the deadline.

4.there is no amount that you need to edit a picture example: you get a picture from Google you add..a sticky note somewhere on it and you post it. that is not against the rules it'l just look crappy.

5. if you take an already made picture, like past made wallpapers whether they look good or not you will be judged on the editing you did to that picture. Example: someone took a wallpaper that pulp made  and added a dot. you will only be judged for that little dot.

6.any resource is acceptable, google, youtube, whatever you may want to get tips, even the shoutbox.

The way this has been decided is a bit unique. There are two teams

Team 1 - Zealousr                                             Team 2 - Zencal

The teams will be assigned different conditions which will be named later on. after the conditions are met the team with a losing picture (decided by judges) will have to decide the weakest of their members to be eliminated. More information shall be explained from then.

Round 1 -  every member of both teams will have to edit this picture.



every member must have some part of editing the picture.
EXAMPLE: person 1 edits the picture, he/she will pass on the edited picture, not original, edited to the next person of their choice. person 2 edits the picture the way they want it saves it. and sends it to the next person.

i would suggest teamwork. communication is favored for the team to work well.  at LEAST two members must edit the picture for this round

After that the judges shall decide
