I did approach him properly, and as soon as I did he removed my comment, blocked me and started spamming my videos with hate.

How did he steal your vid in the 1st place?

you should put a watermark on the videos so even if someone steals it it will say on the video whos it is or where its from.  

Stop posting stuff saying its removed.... WE ALL KNOW NOW.
