Forum Rules
« on: February 16, 2010, 04:12:47 pm »
1) Don't post in ban appeals unless it is YOUR ban appeal or you are an ADMIN. If it's your friend your family member etc. DO NOT POST IN THE BAN APPEAL.

2) Please stop posting "Goodbye" topics. If you're going to quit the server or just start playing less then do so without making it into something big and dramatic.

3) READ THE SUGGESTIONS BEFORE MAKING A SUGGESTION. Some people are posting suggestions that have been suggested once or several times before.

4) Stop posting screen shots of somebody flaming, deathmatching, etc. If you want to report a player then use the in-game /report or just PM an admin. The world does not need to know that randomsampplayernumber9992212 punched you in the server.

5) If you're having a problem with SA-MP then check out the official SA-MP forums for solutions before posting your topic.

6) Do not make a post that consists of only one or two words or just a smiley. " -_-" or "lol". This is a forum not a chat room so please treat it as such.

7) Don't post your IP or personal information in a ban appeal or anywhere at all. This isn't a rule but simply a suggestion to help protect yourself. If some creepy old guy shows up at your house saying he found you through www.worldofstunt.com because you posted your personal information in a topic, then that is your fault.

8 ) READ THE RULES AND TERMS OF SERVICE. There are so many people who claim to know the ToS and the rules when they really don't. PLEASE go read them and be sure you understand them.

9) If you break the rules then leave the server that does not mean those offenses are cleared. You will be punished for any rules you break even if you've been gone for a year.

10) Before making another topic like "post a picture of yourself" or "post your msn" make sure that a topic like that wasn't already posted.

11) Do not bump an old topic unless you are contributing something that's worth bumping.  For example, don't welcome someone in "Introduce yourself" after they have been on the forums for at least 2 weeks already, just for the extra post count.

12) Do not double post, there is an edit button in existance for a reason.

I really shouldn't have to post this but there are SO MANY ,and I can't stress how many people, who are told things like this over and over and over and don't seem to listen.

I have something to add to this if you don't mind Stumpy:

Stumpy, I have something else to add:

11) Do not bump an old topic unless you are contributing something that's worth bumping.  For example, don't welcome someone in "Introduce yourself" after they have been on the forums for at least 2 weeks already, just for the extra post count.

I shouldn't have to add this but I've been noticing it a lot lately.

Regards,
Brendon
