Yes YT now supports 720p videos, so start rendering videos at a higher res or else its gonna look terrible.

yesterday when i opened youtube and started browsing, i was like owtf, whats going on here. but it looks ace on the widescreen

Remember to render your videos in 1280x720, that's the new native resolution :P
I can't record much higher than 800x600, looks like I'll be an epic effects whore now.
