to do these ☺☻♥♦♣♠•◘c○ what you need to do is

1. open notepad,word or just the forum post
2. after you open the 'POST-REPLY"
3. after open start to hold ALT then press  any number on the Number pad
4.  E.g. hold ALT and press 1 so alt+1 = ☺ you can do any number 1-9
5. you can also do Alt+1 but if you do ALT+1 then keep holding alt and let go of 1 and press 1 so you do ALT+1 and 1 again you get ♂ you can also do ALT+1 and 1       8 times to get diffent things E.G. ( ☺ ♂ o W g G ╟ )
6. you can do this with every number on the number pad 1-9
7. you can also do the same as before but instead of pressing 1+1 you can press 1+2 it will give u this ♀ and the same as before but this time in you have to do is hold alt press 1 then 2 let go of 1 and 2 then press 1 and 2 again you get   ╝
8. you can do this the same as before E.g. hold alt and press 1+1 to 1+9 the same order
9. you can also do this             " yes it can get confusing but if you try it can help you so... "    ...in stead of pressing 1+2 you can do it backwards E.g. hold Alt and press 2+1 it will give you § ...
10.and same as before you can do Alt+2-1 let go of 2-1 press it again you get (I) lol yes u get a (I)
and u can do the same with every number pad key

You can get the whole list of character shortcuts at START>All Programs> Accessories> System tools> Character Map

and

You can just select the symbol/character you want and click the copy button.
As simple as that
