hey i got gta iv 4 pc yesterday and my game is laggy and crap graphics,when i change the settings to high or med it just automaticly changes back

Post your PC specs. You most likely have a slow computer and thats why it runs bad.

A slow computer is not the reason GTA:IV runs bad, it's the fact that it has absolutely horrible optimisation on the PC version and it's a crappy port of the PS3 version.

If you want it to run smooth on decent settings, you're gonna need to buy a rediculously expensive PC just to get it going. Far more than it should require as a game with it's graphical requirements.

isnt there a way to upgrade a graphics card?cuz im like $500 off a 1K comp =( ill have to play it laggy 4 now

i was actually curios so i googled how to fnd your pc specs xD and i thinkk this is it

thats pretty slow.
my computer runs IV with 30-60 fps on low/med settings, and i have twice the RAM, and a bit better processor.
i dont know about your gfx card tho. i have a pretty crappy one...
