Actually it's not modding, people really need to learn the meaning of modification before making up their own definition.

NOS on a quad is not modification, its perfectly within the game boundries and setup in the memory data selection.

I think you need to learn the meaning of modification. :P Can you get NOS on a quad without any user created hacks like trainers and such? No, NOS on a quad is like speedhack on a NRG. On a clean install of the game, the default way Rockstar put together the game, you can't get NOS unless you download un-official user created trainers to make it possible which is modifying how the game works/modding. Also last time someone said something about remembering vehicles being modding, and I explained that it's not modding but somehow it all got deleted... Anyway, you can get a vehicle to not dissapear by re-entering that vehicle everytime you try a particular stunt, remembering vehicles with Dannye's is just something to make it easier. Also why did it all get deleted? There wasn't any spam or any useless posts... We were having a conversation which was perfectly on-topic... I hope this doesn't get deleted because I would like my point to stay here. NOS on a quad IS modding and it shouldn't be allowed. If that stays allowed then I think speedhacking on a NRG should also be allowed lol.

Again you don't even know any programming/memory injection or how the game works. So you don't know the meaning of modification in essence at all. You are simply repeating stuff you know from see'ing the game in action, which is completely useless as that is NOT the terminology of modification.

Stop thinking what you hear from other communities is the "official" way because unfortunately the ACTUAL terminology of "modification" as a word is the official way.

"Modification", in the terms YOU'RE using it, is in fact "internet slang" which means it's been derived by other societies and informational databases so that the original REAL meaning of modification has been lost.

Unfortunately here on the World of Stunting official network, we use the correct terminology of all words, and not internet slang versions of it.

I knew I said I wouldn't bother but NOS on a quad IS NOT modding as it's already within the game programming to do so. All you're doing is simply adding the NOS to the quad. Adding it to a BIKE is MODIFICATION as bike's do NOT have internal programming to do so. Just like it would be with trains, it would require re-writing the game content and it would in FACT be modding.

Now maybe that makes it more clear for you. However you're probably going to deny it all because you've already learned the way of the internet slang instead of correct terminology.

If you say that "modding" is not allowed in a competition, then you are not allowing skins/vehicle models either.

"Modification" is too broad a term to disallow it, as first of all, people don't know what it REALLY means instead of internet slang meanings, and second of all, the term knocks out fully legitimate ways of playing San Andreas which are completely normal. You need a correctly written Terms of Service to knock out UNFAIR ways of winning, which cannot be labled as "MODDING" because the term simply does not cover the correct areas and is a lazy way of putting it.

So instead of saying "modification" is not allowed, we've actually written proper rules in the informational topic, which outline the correct unfair advantages.
